11th Annual Fishing Derby

Join in on a chance for tens of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes and a guaranteed fun afternoon of ice fishing on Horne Lake.  Only $113.00 (includes hst) per hole.  The winner with the longest fish takes home 50% of the cash prize.  Last year's winner netted $23,600.00 cash.  The Second Prize was a Can Am ATV.  A total of 472 people registered into the event, and by all accounts the 2018 event will attract similar or better numbers.

Last year we tried something new and the anglers were happy with it so we are again repeating it.  The first 100 entries will be allowed on the ice at 09:00 a.m.; 101 - 200 entries will be allowed on the ice at 09:30 a.m.; 201 - 300 entries will be allowed on the ice at 10:00 a.m. and entries 301 - 400 will be allowed on the ice at 10:30 a.m. All other entries will have access to the ice at 11:00 A.M.

Registration on Friday evening at the Civic Centre from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
