Golf Stone Ridge at Elliot Lake

Elliot Lake is home to one of Northern Ontario's premier 18 hole championship golf courses, Stone Ridge.  This magnificent 6,800-yard course, designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Baker - whose designs include the two Lionshead courses and the Royal Niagara - features breathtaking views of rock escarpments, the boreal forest and beautiful Ryan Lake.  The course boasts a driving range, pro shop, dining room and fully licensed clubhouse.

Mt. Dufour Ski Area

Mt. Dufour is an alpine ski hill located within the City.   The hill has 7 trails, 2 lifts, full snowmaking capabilities, a terrain park, a fully equipped chalet and offers beginner programs, lessons and rentals.  Mt. Dufour is best know for having a challenging vertical incline, almost no lift lines and a family oriented set-up.

Sheriff Creek Wildlife Sanctuary

The Sheriff Creek Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected habitat for birds, mammals, and reptiles located, quite literally, on the edge of the City.  The sanctuary has an extensive trail network and numerous wildlife viewing platforms.
