The City of Elliot Lake is committed to reviewing its practices, processes and policies with respect to removing barriers for persons with disabilities.
Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, the City of Elliot Lake has established the Accessibility Advisory Committee, to assist the City in identifying and eliminating barriers. The Accessibility Plan is available on the city's website under City Hall / Budgets and Reports / Accessibility Plan.
The City's Customer Service Policy is available on the City's website under City Hall / By-laws and Policies / Accessibility Customer Service Policy, where you will also find the Accessible Customer Service Feedback form.
To contact the City using the website, there is a "Contact Us" button on the home page. Also there are "email" buttons at the top of each of the different tabs for learning more about the City, for example: City Services; City Hall; Recreation and Leisure; Visit Elliot Lake; Invest in Elliot Lake.
The Elliot Lake Public Library is pleased to offer an accessibility Computer and station designed to meet special needs including access for wheelchairs, access for persons with a visual disability, blindness, deaf or hard of hearing.
